FORMER MAKADARA MP FINED BY A NAIROBI COURTFormer Makadara MP Reuben Ndolo was charged with obstructing KACC Officers from performing their duties. The Anti-Corruption Court Chief Magistrate, Rose Ougo found the Former Makadara MP "guilty of unlawfully preventing the KACC Investigators from effecting summons on him requiring him to proceed to their offices and record a statement on how monies allocated to the Makadara Constituency Development Funds were utilized." The former MP, Mr. Ndolo snatched the investigators car keys preventing them from leaving his upper hill home in April 2007. He was fined Ksh.30,000/= or a three month jail term in default. It is an offence under Section 66(1) of the Anti-Corruption and Economic Crimes Act, 2003 to obstruct, hinder, assault or threaten a person acting under this Act..
