KACC CONDUCTS TRAININGS AT VARIOUS INSTITUTIONSAs mandated by the Anti-Corruption and Economic Crimes Act 2003 7(1)(g), the Commission continues to educate the public on the dangers of corruption and economic crime including the concept of corruption; causes of corruption, the effects of corruption, the benefits of fighting corruption and the role of the individual in the fight against corruption. The Commission conducts trainings at various institutions upon requests. One institution that requested for training was the Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE). The Commission's Education Department sensitized Senior Management of KISE on the Legal Framework of fighting corruption, Corruption Risk Assessment and Organizational Culture. The feedback already received from KISE is that the valuable course should be cascaded to its lower management. A similar training was also conducted for the entire Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC). Posted on Thursday, March 23, 2006
